Power alone doesn’t determine the effectiveness of LED masks. In fact, excessive power could harm the skin, while lower power over a longer period often delivers the best results. To determine the quality and effectiveness of an LED mask, it’s important to also look at the wavelength precision, LED light coverage and treatment time.

Step 1: Start with a sensitivity test (find out how to do this in your mask's manual).
Step 2: Cleanse your skin and pat dry. Attach the mask, then adjust the strap around your head (for the Series 2 Mask, attach the top strap across the top of your head).
Step 3: Switch on, sit back and relax for 10 minutes. The mask will automatically switch off when your treatment is finished.
Step 4: Remove the mask from your head and wipe clean.

The device is 100% pain free. It does not generate heat and should not feel uncomfortable.
You can expect to see results in just 4 weeks when used consistently 10 minutes a day, 3 to 5 times per week. Although effective on its own, you will achieve the best results when used with our CurrentBody Skin Hydrogel Face Masks or CurrentBody Skin Green Tea Serum.
Step 1: Find an open and comfortable space. We recommend a bed or stable flat surface.
Step 2: Place your towel insert into the blanket. If desired, now is the time to change into loose fitting clothing.
Step 3: Plug your controller into the blanket, and plug the controller into the power socket. Press your device on.
Step 4: Set the timer for your desired session duration (the default setting is 45 minutes, but the available range is 30 to 60 minutes). Adjust to your preferred temperature (available range is 85˚F to 167˚F), then your session will begin.
Step 5: Relax into your infrared blanket. Ideal for listening to music, guided meditation or a podcast to enhance your experience.
Step 6: Once complete, remove the towel insert, unplug your device and wipe clean before next use.
Expert Advice: For first use, we recommend starting on the lowest temperature. You can gradually increase the setting up as you acclimatize to your sessions. We also recommend drinking 200ml to 300ml of water before your session, and drinking a glass afterwards to replenish your body’s hydration levels.
Turn the device off and unplug from any power source. Then use a non-toxic disinfectant wipe or spray to clean the blanket before your next use.
Do not use chemical or alcohol based cleaners on the exterior as harsh chemicals may discolour the fabric.
Wash your towel insert no higher than a 85˚F wash cycle, and do not tumble dry.
We recommend wearing loose clothes alongside your cotton towel to absorb any sweat released during your session and provide comfort while lying on top of the heat source. You can also not wear clothing for the session, as long as you are using the towel insert.
